Technique

My collage/paintings are created by layering print and paint on 140 pound Reeves cold press paper.  I have created a lifting and layering process that recycles high-quality print advertising.  Commercial images, paper fragments and graffiti combine in a juxtaposition of visual elements to create texture in planar shapes.

About the Work

Icons/Aliens

Aliens monitor our hero worship and abduct our finest specimens.  We create the aliens in our icon-addicted world.

Evocative Landscapes

What is the purpose of place?  Who are the ghosts in our landscapes?  Home is a building, but the dreams of our past linger even when the building is empty.
